Complevia ("the app", "we", "our") is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you and stays on your device. This policy explains exactly what data we handle and what we do with it.
1. Data we collect
We collect no personal data. The app does not require an account, email address, name, or any identifying information to function.
2. Data stored on your device
Complevia stores the following data locally on your Android device using SQLite (Room) and Android DataStore:
- Recurring actions you create (title, schedule, completion type)
- Completion history and stats (streaks, rates, timestamps)
- App preferences (notification settings, theme, language)
- Onboarding completion flag
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server, cloud storage, or third party.
3. Internet access
Complevia does not require an internet connection and does not make any network requests. All features — scheduling, notifications, history, and stats — work fully offline.
4. Third-party services
The app may display ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data according to Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised ads in your Android device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
5. Permissions
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to send you reminders when an action is due.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to reschedule notifications after the device restarts.
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM — to trigger reminders at the precise configured time.
- VIBRATE — for notification vibration.
No permission grants us access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or files.
6. Children's privacy
Complevia is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
